Mountain Warehouse Competition!

blogHi Guys

Last week my dear readers were all admiring my Mountain Warehouse poster girl look on Facebook and then we saw that they were searching for the ‘face’ of Mountain Warehouse. So – egged on by the naughtiest among you – I generously tweeted Mountain Warehouse to offer my services. Lol!

@MountainWhouse  Dear Mountain Warehouse: Please can I be in your catalogue next year? I have all my own gear. Love C : ) xx #fleeceagogo

The lovely team there kindly replied:

@carolematthews  Dear Carole: No you can’t, but we’d love to give your readers two £25 vouchers to use in our stores or online. Love Mountain Warehouse xx

Can’t say fairer than that! Now we love Mountain Warehouse that little bit more.

Thought I’d throw in a couple of signed books too. It’s Now or Never sounded fitting as it’s about a woman who’s dream is to trek the Inca Trail. And you’re deffo going to need a fleece for that, right?

So, here we go. Mini comp. Send me your name and address in an email to camatthewsmail@aol.com by Midnight on Sunday 6 July and a signed copy of my book plus a £25 Mountain Warehouse voucher could be trekking it’s way to you (See what I did there).

There are two up for grabs and Lovely Kev will choose the winners in his usual random manner.

Due to their sense of humour and generosity, we have let Mountain Warehouse join our hallowed list of favourite shops along with John Lewis, IKEA and Dobbies. If you aren’t in ‘the know’ yet – here they are:  Mountain Warehouse

C : ) xx

Thank you to everyone who entered! The winners were drawn this morning and prizes are going out to Tracey Lewis and Alison Ridgway. Congratulations, ladies!  C : ) xx

For better or worse, even with a whiff of scandal Carole Matthews books have a habit of driving you crazy.
Some may say that there is more to life than this but with or without you and barring that minor indiscretion when we were caught in a compromising position, maybe after our mountain walk we can all meet on platform 8 and enjoy a bit of chocolate.

  7. Carolyn Carlton says:

Think it’s fab that you actually offered your services to Mountain Warehouse, LOL! Shame they didn’t take you up on your offer, but how lovely that they gave you the vouchers. Do they not realise your high profile connections with the Queens and Mary Berry? I’ve sent an email entry and will be keeping my fingers crossed as I love my Mountain Warehouse fleeces for walking the dogs. A signed copy of your book will be an added bonus and would take pride of place on my Carole Matthew’s book shelf.

    xxx

We only holiday in the UK, usually camping (love to say glamping but its not even that) and we always seem to stumble upon a mountain warehouse. Infact its not classed as a good holiday destination without one!
