Happy New Year!

Hello lovely people

Just a quick note to wish you all a happy new year. I hope that 2017 is a fabulous year for everyone and I think most of us will have been glad to see the back of 2016!

Lots to look forward to on the book front this year. My latest novel, Paper Hearts & Summer Kisses – book number 29 – is out now in hardback and ebook. The paperback will follow in April. So many of you have already said that it’s my best book so far which is lovely to hear. It’s based on the story of my friend, Christine, and it was such a joy to write. We have lots of lovely promotions and competitions coming up for you, make sure to keep in touch on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram – All of The Things! – and sign up to my newsletter too. I don’t want you to miss a thing.

Thank you for all the kind wishes and comments – keep them coming in 2017! It really does give me a boost to know that you enjoy my writing. Look forward to chatting on social media too.

Much love C : ) xx

Some nice reviews for Paper Hearts & Summer Kisses:

Carole’s book feel so effortless to read. You just pick the story up from the first page and lose yourself in another world which becomes the norm. So easy to turn the pages and then feel upset that you’re reading the end. I actually do feel quite bereft and feel like this book was just the beginning of another story!

Another gorgeous novel that will delight Carole’s current fans and create new ones

I loved Paper Hearts and Summer Kisses. I was rooting for Christie from the very first page. I laughed and cried and marvelled at your story telling.

Christie Chapman is a single working mother who spends her days commuting to her secretarial job in London and looking after her teenage son, Finn.

It can be tough just getting through the day but Christie has always found comfort in her love of crafting and any spare time she has is spent in her parents’ summerhouse working on her beautiful creations. From intricately designed birthday cards to personalised gifts, Christie’s flair for the handmade knows no bounds and it’s not long before opportunity comes knocking. All of a sudden Christie sees a different future for her and Finn – one full of hope and possibility, and if the handsome Max Alexander is to be believed, one full of love too. It’s all there for the taking.
And then, all of sudden, Christie’s world is turned upside down.

Christie knows that something has to give, but what will she choose? Will she give up her dreams and the chance of real love? What price will she pay for doing the right thing? Can Christie find her happy ending in . . . Paper Hearts and Summer Kisses.

I have just finished Paper Hearts and Summer Kisses and just LOVED it. I was gripped and grabbed five minutes when ever I could to see what happened next. A real feel good book with both laughter and sadness. You’ve done it again though Carole, I am desperate to know what happens next and distraught when the book ended!!
